Style comparison
Slab — flat door, handleless or push-to-open, ultra-modern, suits new-builds and contemporary extensions, dates faster than Shaker. Shaker — five-piece door with recessed centre panel, original Shaker community USA design, dominates London 2026 — works in Victorian period homes, Edwardian terraces and modern extensions alike. In-frame — door sits within face frame (not overlay), heritage premium, lower internal storage volume but high-end visual. Beaded in-frame — Plain English / deVOL signature, bead detail around door opening, top-end heritage spec.
